加密货币ETF

加密货币ETF是通过常规经纪账户投资加密货币的一种便捷方式，无需直接拥有或存储加密货币。

2024年1月，美国证券交易委员会 (SEC) 批准比特币现货ETF上市交易。此外，随着美国证券交易委员会 (SEC) 批准以太坊现货ETF可于2024年7月23日起进行交易。美国证券交易委员会的这些决定赋予了各公司在美国主要证券交易所推出比特币和以太坊现货ETF的能力。

目前，香港和美国有各种不同的ETF追踪不同的加密货币，如比特币、以太坊（也称为以太币）等。

与传统的ETF一样，它们在证券交易所进行交易，跟踪单一或成组的加密货币的价格。

加密货币ETF相比直接购买加密货币的优点

1. 交易方式简便，加密ETF可以像买卖股票一样方便地进行交易。
2. 加密货币ETF消除了投资者必须管理自己的加密钱包或处理私钥和公钥的烦恼。

加密货币ETF的类型

1. 现货ETF: 通过持有实际的加密货币来追踪特定加密货币的价格。

Grayscale

Looking for insight on the difference in the Bitcoin ETF (GBTC) vs. Bitcoin mini trust ETF (BTC)

Why on earth would you be considering investment products from Grayscale? They've been connected to major defaults through it's parent company in the past couple years and they were milking investors with atrocious fees when they were a closed end fund - before the ETF approval.

Grayscale should be avoided, it has destroyed it's reputation and credibility the past 2 years.

If you really want a bitcoin ETF, consider Blackrock IBIT, Fidelity FBTC, or some of the mid size funds like ARKB.

GBTC and BTC funds

Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) declared a spin-off of Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) on July 19, 2024. For each share of GBTC held on the record date of July 30, 2024, holders received one share of BTC, which was allocated to client accounts on July 31, 2024. This was a mandatory corporate action.
